John Gillen

John J. Gillen is a human capital management consultant, an experienced HR professional and a work futurist. He has more than 20 years of experience as an internal corporate HR practitioner. He was most recently a Human Capital management consultant for a Big 4 professional services firm.

As the Director of HR Services for Adaptation, Inc., he provides best practice experience that empowers companies to successfully adapt to disruptive change in the workforce, and supports the transition of their staff to the future of work.

Prior to joining Adaptation in 2015, John served as a Specialist Leader in Deloitte Consulting’s Human Capital Management consulting practice and worked for more than 20 years in various internal corporate Human Resources roles at companies such as Standard & Poor’s, Young & Rubicam and AT&T Capital. He has been a frequent speaker at many HR professional meetings helping organizations develop people strategies to better align their HR practices to the organization’s strategic business objectives.

John has extensive experience helping organizations gain and maintain a competitive advantage in their marketplace by optimizing their return on their human capital. He is a dynamic speaker, well regarded and versed as a change champion and transformational leader.
