#1: Maintenance Monitoring Center – Product Support Specialist

We are looking to build a Maintenance Monitoring Center to support a large technology implementation project.  This project is located in the New York City area. Candidates will be required to work on-site and be flexible to work night, holiday and/or weekend shifts.

Job Description:

  • Provide technical support regarding our products to our customers experiencing usage or performance-based issues
  • Monitor email and phone communication (both internal and external) to promptly and properly acknowledge and address reported issues with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
  • Using available tools, ascertain the root causes to identified issues. Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for issues that arise, properly document and escalate more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.
  • Log and track calls and maintain history records and related problem documentation. Attention to detail both in communications and monitoring requirements for production systems.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service and adhere to contractual customer performance requirement. Collaborate with development, deployment, and field support teams to insure proper issue resolution and customer service.
  • As required and instructed by management, identify trends, causes and effects, etc. and recommend enhancements to better or outperform Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • As required and instructed by management, assess internal reports to spot system shortcomings and/or recommend system maintenance to mitigate performance degradation.
  • Identify problems to efficiently mitigate system downtime.
  • Perform data analytic for all facilities in real time, quickly and accurately identify issues, issue timely alerts to key personnel, and follow through to ensure the issues are properly resolved and documented.
  • Log and track calls to maintain accurate historical records.
  • Maintain an exceptional level of service and adhere to required customer performance requirements to keep the department contractually compliant.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Post High School education in a technical or analytical field preferred

Software Skills Required:

  • Troubleshooting Technical Documentation MS Office Software

#2: QA (Quality Assurance) Group

We are looking to build a QA (Quality Assurance) group to support a large technology implementation project.  This project is located in the New York City area. Candidates will be required to work on-site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Internal auditing of transactional data
  • Data collection and other clerical assignments
  • Metric reporting
  • Audit roadside toll transactions for accuracy through various stages of system integration.
  • Document audit results using Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Deliver audit results on time per project deadlines set by team lead or supervisor.
  • Real time analysis of audit results during the audit process to ensure anomalies are found as early as possible in the process.

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Windows 7/10: Intermediate skills with Windows is required. File and Folder management, navigation of file structures, etc.
  • Microsoft Office: Intermediate Skills of Office 2013 or later required with emphasis on MS Excel.
  • Excel skills: Intermediate+ proficiency with spreadsheet management, calculations & formulas. More complex operational knowledge is a plus.
  • Task Management: Ability to manage tasks in an efficient manner, utilization of software based task management tools, such as JIRA, To-Do, etc.
  • Attention to Detail: An extreme attention to detail is required. Ability to pay attention to various pieces of information simultaneously and determine accuracy.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to think through complex scenarios during auditing to ensure a full understanding of situational anomalies.
  • Self-driven and fast learner: Motivation to learn new tasks, tools, processes and can learn quickly.

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent education/experience desired
